Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Quality Assurance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing cloud, mobile and web development, and will work closely with the engineering team and product management teams to create and execute on the company’s roadmap. This role reports directly to the Head of Engineering. The candidate must have experience leading high-performance distributed teams and a strong aptitude for the Agile process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agile Process: Able to work with software development projects using SCRUM techniques with 1-2 week Sprint cycles
  • Managing Hybrid Remote Teams : Managing and improving teams will be a prime focus

Driving Test Processes: Familiarity with modern testing methodologies including mobile, web and cloud automation

  • Independent Contributor: Able to get started quickly on a young but existing codebase and infrastructure, and contribute to our platform without formal training or mentoring

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing QA teams
  • Strong knowledge of QA test tools and processes
  • Strong experience with manual and automated testing
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • A history of successfully managing remote teams
